Houses with an unmistakable loft character            

The planning of this house goes back to the ancient „North German aisled house“.  That’s the way the concept of a home with an unmistakable loft character was created!

The starting point was a simple structure, whose gable profile has a constant solid measure of 1,0 m and an ideal roof pitch of 45°. The building length starts off with  8,95 m for TERRALOFT - BASIC and it can be extended at will. Lots of possibilities and variations are available, some examples thereof are shown in the  TERRALOFT-VARIO-INDEX.

For demonstration purposes, a structure with a floor area of 70 m2 became the family’s common room in the „TERRALOFT-SOLITAIRE“ model house built in Wuppertal. The entrance, kitchen, dining and living area with a gallery and the balcony are shown in an impressive way.

The aim of the TERRALOFT construction method is to avoid – as far as possible - statically required pillars in the whole interior space of the different houses. And the result is
